Correction isn’t Criticism – It’s Care

The One Thing We Often Avoid Doing…

We see someone make a mistake-
Maybe it’s a colleague, a peer, or even a friend.
They may not even realize it.
And yet …… we choose silence.

Why?

Because it’s easier to watch than to engage.
Because “how will you have fun it you don’t let them fail?”
Because “it’s not my place.”
Because we don’t want to be “that person.”

But in doing so, we forget something crucial-
Communities don’t grow in silence.
They grow in shared awareness.

If I notice an error and say nothing, I’m not being kind.
I’m being complacent.

Correcting someone with empathy isn’t criticism-
It’s contribution.
It’s not about being right.
It’s about being rising together.

Imagine a culture where feedback is a gift, not a threat.
Where we look out for each other not to correct but to connect.

That’s how we build teams.
That’s how we build trust.
That’s how we build better.

So, the next time you see someone unaware of their slip-
Say something.
Kindly. Respectfully.
Not for them. Not for you.
But for us……

For the community we all share.
